Water is one of the most important elements for our lives, which is why it’s always recommended to drink thoroughly clean water for healthy living. Nowadays, water coolers can be spotted in many offices and homes, as they dispense tasty, fresh water.

Many water coolers can dispense cold water, hot water or water at room temperature. Water coolers are mainly categorised into two types: bottled water coolers and bottle-less water coolers.

Types of water coolers

The only difference between the two is that bottled water coolers use bottles to dispense water and bottle-less coolers don’t. Bottle-less water coolers are directly fitted into the water supply and water is then dispensed after filtration.

Currently, bottled water coolers are very popular, as they are freestanding and occupy less space. With these water coolers, the bottle is placed into the opening and water is then dispensed through the tap.

Water coolers dispense water in a controlled manner, which means that you can have cold water or hot water instantly.

Both types of water coolers feature a small drip tray which helps to collect surplus water and prevent it from dripping out of the cooler.
